After our trip to Yakima, we drove up Yakima Canyon to the college and agricultural town of Ellensburg. Ellensburg is on Interstate 90, about 2 hours east of Seattle, in the slightly arid central Washington State. Ellensburg has one of the largest rodeos in the region in the fall, is home to a university, and has an interesting Americana style downtown. It's also known for it's funky odor in the summer from a feed lot nearby. There's a wind farm nearby I'm hoping to shoot in the near future.
