thanks tom, although i think anyone can see this way, it's just a matter of letting go of convential notions of what a photograph is supposed to look like. i never did well in workshops where we were told that the middle of the day was a time to rest or sleep and only shoot in dawn or dusk. when looking at a subject like rainier, start looking at reflections, puddles, playing with timed exposures, light painting, etc. it's all there, just a matter of seeing it. cheers.
