The art of shooting while driving..

My girlfriend gets a little spooked when I start shooting from the driver's seat, while driving.  As if my LA style driving isn't stressful enough.  Admittantly, I get some great shots through the windshield or driver's side window, often of the side mirror reflections.  I've done it for so long that I have can fire off shots, adjust the speed to motion blur, back to sharp again, check the preview, and change cards, often without swerving or leaving my lane.  I always shoot with a zoom that can give me wide angle to a slight telephoto, often on AF.  Although AF doesn't work if it's raining, as it's focuses on the water droplets on the windshield.  Back in the day, I did this with a 35mm film camera, cranking the winder with one hand.
